Grief in the Workplace certification is granted to those who complete the 3-hour Grief in the Workplace curriculum as an endorsement to their resume. It includes two 90-minute modules that cover corporate strategies for handling employee crises. Students learn key components of managing employee grief including how to:

  • How to write organization grief policies & procedures
  • How to prepare internal and external communication in time of employee grief
  • How to conduct briefing & debriefing
  • Strategies to improve employee safety and minimize risk
  • Strategies to minimize disruption and maximize workflow
